Welcome to these 5 guided meditations!
We are going to meet our ancestors and see how they connect us to nature elements and how the elements connect us to our lineage bringing balance and harmony. We hold all the elements within us - fire, water, earth, air and more. Many traditions around the world see the human being as a combination of the elements just as all other beings on earth. Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, Dagara tradition, Elements model in transpersonal psychology and others recognise the qualities each element has in nature and sees it in the person, the aim is always to bring them into balance, to harmonise the elements within us for physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. The elements that are within us, like many other things, we receive from our ancestors. If you look closely at your family tree, your ancestral field, you’ll notice who were those who hold fire within them, who hold water, who are of the air and of the earth. Within us all elements are present but usually one or two stand out immediately, especially in imbalanced state. Knowing our inner elements, connecting to the outer elements and seeing their roots in our ancestors helps us to be more in balance, bring more harmony to life, and learn to regulate ourselves when out of balance. If too much fire, water might help; if too much air - we call earth for grounding; too much earth - water for softness. Let's explore.
1. First of five guided meditations to connect with our ancestors and nature elements. We go all the way back to prehistoric wild nature, and see how early humans connected to elements as their teachers and then passed this connection down the generations, all the way back to us.

2. A meditation to meet your ancestors and the element of water. Get in touch with the water element within you, tap into the power your ancestors passed on to you, journey for harmony, support and cleansing.
When you look back at your ancestors, where do you see water qualities? Water comes in various forms, rivers, oceans, lakes, streams, waterfalls - what do you feel as you connect with each one; many years ago, our ancestors were so in tune with the environment that they treated all other non human beings as teachers as well as allies in survival. Learning from water, they developed similar qualities and skills to treating obstacles, releasing, clearing and nurturing. Which of the water qualities run in you freely and which are on hold?

3. Fire brings transformation and release, joy and life. Hard to imagine what would have happened to our ancestors if they didn’t have fire. Hard to imagine our own life without fire qualities - courage to speak up, impulse to move, play, create, show up, explore and discover. Those of our ancestors who took a plunge and moved countries, seeking better life; those who built businesses, lost everything, and built it again; those who stood up for their rights; all those ancestors with fire burning within them offered that fire to us. Who are your fire ancestors?
In this meditation we meet those ancestors for whom fire is a great teacher and we also meet the fire of the family soul.

4. Air is the most obvious life giving element, no air - no breathing, no life. However it is also so subtle, so quick, so difficult to define compared to other elements. Air’s qualities vary from being up and light, to being fully in one’s head, wisdom, thinking, intelligence as well as communication, understanding, adventure, intuition and deep insight. It is very much connected to upper chakras of the throat, third eye and crown. Who of your ancestors does it remind you of? Do you recognise yourself in this? How do you experience air element - as a friendly gentle breeze, or a powerful tornado?
In this meditation we are meeting ancestors for whom air was a special teacher, and who integrated its qualities to make them part of their essence.

5. Earth. Who of your family comes to mind? Mother Earth is an ancient being and archetype, holding all of us, being extremely patient and generous but also quite clear with her boundaries. Everything we have comes of her, and everything returns to her. Our ancestors had incredibly tight relationship with earth, first as hunters and gatherers of her abundance, fully depending on their environment, and then slowly settling down, growing their food, domesticating animals, still fully dependent on earth’s generosity, embodying her qualities into every day life. In our ancestral field we have those who support us just in that way, the way of the earth; who hold us, teach us, and challenge us to grow. Those ancestors who hold our roots strongly, who are connected with the land in a good way, and who had beautiful relationship with mother earth and her beings.
In this meditation we will also meet the heart of the earth and the ancestors of that heart.
